The Pool - Paul Kelly

For musician Paul Kelly, the pool is a place for family gatherings, celebrations and everyday meditations on life and love.

The Pool- Shane Gould

1972 Olympic gold medallist, Shane Gould shares her memories of competing on the international stage and the importance of designing pools for both athletic performance and community recreation.

The Pool- Hetti Perkins

The 1965 Freedom Ride is a watershed moment in Australia's recent history. For Indigenous activist Charles Perkins the segregation of the Moree Pool was a potent symbol of the exclusion of Aboriginal people from the rest of Australian society. His daughter Hetti Perkins tells us the story of his journey on the Freedom Ride that established a new social frontier for equal rights for Aboriginal people. She also talks about the continuing importance of pools in rural and remote indigenous communities today.
