Exhibitions

I produce audio stories for exhibitions.

One of my productions was for The Pool (2016), an exhibition from Aileen Sage Architects (Amelia Holliday & Isabelle Toland) with Michelle Tabet for the Australian pavilion at the 2016 Venice Biennale of Architecture. This collection of interviews with prominent Australians explores our cultural relationship with swimming pools. For this project I produced a 25 minute audio loop for the exhibition installation in collaboration with composer Bree van Reyk, and an 8 part podcast series for ABC Radio National.

I also produced exhibition audio stories for Urban Walkabout’s Revolutionary Minds exhibition (2013). These podcasts featured alongside portrait photographs of some of Sydney’s leading creative entrepreneurs and were later published online. (audio links below)

His daughter Hetti Perkins tells us the story of his journey on the Freedom Ride that established a new social frontier for equal rights for Aboriginal people. She also talks about the continuing importance of pools in rural and remote indigenous communities today.
